SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY

HEY BLOGGIES,

Crazy busy here packing and getting ready to move, but I still wanted to submit my card this week  as a design team member at SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY.  Here is the sketch we are working with this week:

And here is MY take on Marisol's sketch:

I am using up my sale-a-bration paper pack called Sweet Sorbet.  The black background print used at the top of this card has been hard for me to use on any card because it is so domineering with the black.  Covering it up a bit with the embossed crumb cake cs helps a lot.

The light brown print at the bottom reads as a solid I believe, so I even did a small bit of bee hive stamping on it with baked brown sugar ink in the bottom corner and along the middle piece that served as part of my ribbon embellishment.  The three hexigons out of the dsp are to complete the sketch.  The only other thing I added was a gold twine bow and it is finished!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

A LITTLE MONDAY MOJO HERE

HEY BLOGGIES,

I have a little Mojo Monday card for you here.  It got my mojo humming this morning.

I used crisp camtaloupe and crumb cake with whisper white.

the little adornment is a button with the back snipped off.  I created the cuteBOW in DSP with the oval punch and also a 3/4" wide piece of paper.   I have beads as sprinkles on the shiny gelato scoop. Embossing on cone and background.

The sentiment is from Six Sided Sampler stamp set, punched with oval punch and layered Scallop Oval punch.Embossed background is baked brown sugar.

SWEET SIX SIDED SAMPLER CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

This week I have been running so much with the move and the sale of our home that I passed myself coming and going!!

I have a fun card to share with you though.  My two friends, Tammy and Denise, and myself created a fun card that we saw on my upline DAWN GRIFFITH's site.  Of course we had to add some twists to make it ours, right?

Crumb cake embossed with elegant stripes embossing folder is on top of a pistachio pudding card base.
I added the ruffled stretch trim in pistachio as well.  The sentiment is from SIX SIDED SAMPLER stamped with baked brown sugar and added to a scalloped oval layer.

I created the ice cream cone with punches.  The cone is punched with the Petite Pennant Punch and run through the big shot with the fancy fan embossing folder to make it look and feel like a real sugar cone!!  The ice cream is punched with the Cupcake Builder Punch and embossed with the dots embossing folder.  The layer behind the cone is from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  I created the cute bow from 2 oval punches and a 3/4" wide piece of designer paper with flags cut on both ends.

The BLING I used is not from Stampin' Up!.  The flat backed pearl is adhered on the top of the cone frame and the adorable ice cream cone is actually a button for sewing that I snipped off the back and used glue dots to adhere to my card.

I hope you have enjoyed my card.  I used the sketch from SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY below for this design.

Why don't you jump over to their website and see what you can come up with using this week's fun sketch.  I can't wait to see what you create!!

I also entered this card at JUST ADD INK.

Thanks for stopping by!!  Come back again to see another creation!!

Happy Easter to everyone.

MORE FUN RAINBOW CARDS

HEY BLOGGIES,

I had so much fun creating my card that I showed you yesterday (see previous post), that I thought I would make a couple more with some variations..

I used the ANOTHER THANK YOU photopolymer stamp set for my words.
This one I used a stamp from the Petals Parade stamp set and my pick of rainbow color inks.  I added a small black cardstock strip near the bottom and a cute hot pink flower accessory with a rhinestone in it. I like the way the stamping came out with the different colors.  I used rainbow colors of mini flower sequins to accent the card.

This card I again used the punched squares and rounded two corners.  I used black ink for the thanks on one of the squares.  I used a large flat backed dot for an accent on the right and the cute mini flower sequins all over.

On all three cards, the die cut thanks was from the Silhouette ecutter.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Stop back again for more inspiration, won't you?

RAINBOW COLOR THANK YOU

HEY BLOGGIES,

Two friends and myself got together today and it was Tammy's turn to come up with the card idea that we would create.  We love getting together and sharing ideas.  Here is my card:

Tammy has an E-cutter and she showed us how she creates die cuts with it.    I am thinking I am going to NEED to get one before too long!!  I am loving the "thanks" ecut die and the cute rounded squares too!!  We used white embossing powder on the thank you on the squares, then overlapped them and popped up the overlap with stampin dimensinals.

I added very very tiny star jewels onto my card in the colors of the rainbow squares.  They finished off my card just perfectly.  I am loving this CAS card.

Hope you enjoyed this card.  I have entered this into the weekly Sketch Frenzy Friday and hope you will visit them to see what the other team members have created as well.

Please come back to visit again for more inspiration and creations.

WELL THAT IS JUST "PEACHY KEEN"

hey bloggies,

Sorry I have been a bit quiet this week.  Lots of work going on to sell our home and lots of showings so I have to leave for 30 minutes each appointment.  That equals not much stamping!!

Today I have a card to go with our current sketch on SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY.

I used the sketch to start my creativity, but strayed a bit from it.  Instead of banners I used stamped arrows.  Hope you like it:

Here is my take on the sketch with lots of fun arrows and spears.  Love the stamp set PEACHY KEEN.

I got a card similar to this at Leadership from my roomie DJ, a demo from Austin.  Thanks DJ for the idea!!

Heat embossed the sentiment and punched it out with extra large circle punch, then popped it up on dimensionals.  I love the spring colors of the coastal cabana, baked brown sugar, summer starfruit, and crisp cantaloupe.  The card base is coastal cabana with a layer of crisp cantaloupe underneath the whisper white main layer.

Thanks for stopping by,  Pop over to Sketch Frenzy Friday to see the other team member's cards and to enter YOUR creation on the site as well.

Come back again for some more creativity, won't you?
