YOU BRIGHTEN MY LIFE

HEY BLOGGIES,

Do you ever make a second or third card of the same design because you loved that design so much?

Well, that is what I have for you today,  Months and months ago, I made this simple but cute card and I recently saw a photo of it and knew I had to make it AGAIN for someone special.,

First, I love the bright crushed curry with the quiet and unassuming gray.  Then I absolutely LOVE the little banner punches YAH, YAH, YAH.  I got the Beatles' song in my head as I made it, "She Loves YOU, YAH, YAH, YAH",.  Ha ha, now YOU have that song going around in YOUR head!!

I used the Kinda Eclectic sunburst behind the light bulb so it looked like the bulb was shining.  I used a ton of Crystal Effects on the bulb itself to make it all shiny (sorry the photo doesn't show it very well.)

The bitty banner under the bulb says YOU BRIGHTEN MY LIFE.  I just can't stand it when my phone won't take a clear focused shot.  I didn't notice that you can't read that saying until I posted it tonight.  And the problem is I ALREADY MAILED IT!!  soooooo sorry.

I would love to hear about the time you made several of the same card because you loved the design.  Especially if it did it weeks or months after the construction of the first one!!

Thanks for visiting.  Happy Tuesday evening to y'all.

ENDLESS BIRTHDAY WISHES ..HURRY BEFORE IT IS GONE!!

HEY BLOGGIES,

Endless Birthday Wishes is retiring this month, but it is a stamp set bargain I believe.  This photopolymer set includes 19 stamps and is so versatile.

First up we have a card I made back when I first purchased this fun set.  I love the colors I used and think it looks very pretty together.

The bitty banner punch was used to make the two cute banners along with the little star punch.

Next we have 4 simple but beautiful cards I made this afternoon while watching the Kentucky Derby on Television.  My living room is a mess because I had to bring ALL my goodies out to the coffee table so I could watch the race.  But I am so pleased with the cards that I am no even concerned that I have to clean up now!!  LOL

I used three colors that go with the Bohemian DSP:  Hello Honey, Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss.  The DSP is retiring as well and as of today it is still available if you want to purchase some before it is all gone. Enjoy:

Thanks for visiting me.  If you are looking for a versatile set that you can use A LOT, this is the set, I promise.  Even though I only used 3 or 4 stamps of the 16 stamps, that doesn't mean the other stamps aren't wonderful as well!!  So many verses, words and ideas included with this stamp set.  GET YOURS NOW BEFORE THEY ARE ALL GONE.  You will be GLAD you did!!

If you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, please consider using me.  I am always here to answer questions and to supply ideas.

Take a look at my Pinterest Board for more ideas using ENDLESS BIRTHDAY WISHES.

ANOTHER HELLO CARD

HEY BLOGGIES,

How are you today?  I have another fun HELLO card for you.   Like the one I shared yesterday, I started with a part that this time comes from one of the Project Life kits and accessories.  I liked that it had an oval in the middle that did NOT have any printing on it so I could ink it up before I attached my die cut HELLO,

I adhered the Project Life Card onto a  standard folded card of Cajun Craze card stock.  I then used a sponge and put some greens and a bit of yello to make the background inside the oval unprinted part of the Card.  I used an adorable Simon Says Stamp HELLO die that has an outline with it.  The outline is whisper white and the word itself is from a stenciled print I did a long time ago and have been using it for my die cuts.  It was made with a geometric stencil where I used versamark and clear embossing powder.  THEN I sponged colors across the paper and have since used sections of it for die cuts, backgrounds, borders, etc.  LOVE IT

On the inside I put a piece of whisper white and then two little slices off the Project Life card front (cut off so the Cajun Craze base would show behind it).  I glued these slices as a border.

And here is one more look at the card front.  If you look closely, you can see the gems and sequins I adhered onto the front for a small amount of bling.

Thanks for visiting.  See you next time I make some cards!!

HELLO card with stamps and dies

HEY BLOGGIES,

More rain again today.  Booooo...    I am wishing for clear blue skies, light breezes and dry, firm ground in the pastures.

In the meantime, I made some cards this weekend that I would like to share with you.

I used the card bases from My Paper Pumpkin.  I then used TIMELESS TEXTURES stamps to add more color to my card base with marina mist and crushed curry.  I also used my triple corner punch for the lovely little addition in the bottom two corners.

I punched out of marina mist a tag with my Tag punch and inked the edges before adhering a Simon Says Stamp HELLO die.  I added some cute yellow ribbon and adhered the tag onto the card with Stampin Dimensionals.

I think this is a clean and simple card and I am thrilled with the results of my design. I will share another one tomorrow with similar ideas.  Come on back to visit.

Hope you enjoyed this card.  If you have any questions, let me know.
